Noticed by Misted-Dream Noticed by Misted-Dream
This is my most recent completion (finished it about four days ago) in black and white. It's probably my favorite out of all the paintings I've made this semester. It probably was one of the longest ones to paint as well.

Oil on masonite; 14" X 20"-ish (I need to measure these things), and between 10 or 15 hours I'd say. My own refs used.

Price: NFS

I know this is an older one, but it's absolutely gorgeous, so I had to comment. I really like these monochrome oil paintings - they have such a lovely soft look. Since, it's so delicate, it gets a bit lost amongst the works with more contrast in your gallery, but I really think it's one of your best. The composition is arresting, and every element of the painting is handled well, from the out-of-focus background to the bark texture and fur details.

Serious comments aside, he is soo cute! I can't help staring at the eyes, they're so beautiful.

Haha, it's an older one, but definitely still one of my favorites (it's actually hanging over my bed ;)). I agree that the b&w ones do tend to get lost, but as you say, they are kind of in their own category to a degree. And thanks for the lovely comment on it!

Lol, I love deer! They have such beautiful eyes. :aww:
