Catching the Wind by Misted-Dream Catching the Wind by Misted-Dream
Okay, so I've been meaning to upload this one for awhile now, but I haven't had the motivation to do so until today. ;) Anywho, this is a "detailed sketch" of what I am planning to do on a large sheet of velour paper with my pastels. I wanted to be sure that I mapped out all the detail from my head to the paper so it'd be easier by the time I make it in pastels. In case you can't tell, it's a Friesian, one of my all time favorite breeds. I'm really happy with this piece and how it turned out. :D

A good chunk of hours (maybe around 7 or so?), mechanical pencil, and sketch book paper. :)

Price: NFS

Yes, animals are great! I've never drawn pigeons before, but I probably could. I have drawn some other birds, though. :)

Haha, thanks! But no, just a good old regular mechanical pencil. :)
