Ah, finally finished this one! This is my first drawing I made for my Drawing II class. It's kind of my first drawing of my "Antlered Kings" series. Not much to say about this one, other than it took waaaay longer than I thought it would've. Oh, and sorry for the title. My mind's apparently lacking in creativity at the moment.
Mechanical pencil on smooth (yes, I got some smooth paper this time!) Bristol board, 11" X 14". References thanks to the WetCanvas RIL. Oh man, time? Who knows! I wouldn't be surprised if it was around 14 hours or more.
For Sale: $295 USD (does not include shipping). Framed and ready to hang with a beautiful hand made frame my dad made. Note me if interested.
Thank you! I'm trying to use more refs nowadays so I can improve better and get the realism I want, but it's fun to challenge yourself every once in a while.
Wow, what an excellent piece. The hair looks real and he has such a regal look to him. The antler texture and overall lighting looks so realistic! Great job!
